were trying to sell 300dpi monitors to the
desktop publishing set. No one bought them,
and they died. There's not much point in them
now, given the wide-spread use of anti-aliasing.
I wonder how useful this will be for CAD - won't
the thin lines be too difficult to see?

This thing may find a place in CAD work, but the raw resolution will be utterly useless in normal day-to-day applications.
