Nullsoft unveils ShoutCast-free broadcasting

Smack writes " Nullsoft (creators of WinAMP) have a new, free streaming internet radio called Shoutcast. It downsamples and broadcasts the audio you're currently playing on your home computer to the net. They also have a Linux server (like a repeater) available. Apparently the streams will work with any player that can handle streaming mp3 (including mpg123). " Harkens back to my radio days of yore.
