ISO misscounts Cuban OOXML vote - Cuba responds->

An anonymous reader writes "There was some confusion after the OOXML vote last September, specially among the Cuban people. Privately, the Cuban NB head claimed to have voted against OOXML and that ISO "made a mistake" while counting the votes, but in public, neither the Cuban officials nor the ISO amended the error and no representative was sent to the BRM, apparently after claiming that someone would be sent.
Now, Groklaw reports that the Cuban National Bureau of Standards has sent an email stating that not only Cuba's position is against OOXML, but also denouncing that the original vote was somehow miscounted and that Cuba voted NO back in September. I guess some Cubans will feel relieved with this news... though it seem that no Cuban website has echoed them yet."
