Email Posters Back Down

Happs writes the following about the recent events surrounding spammers and the AOL user mailing list. "Jan 2nd, The National Organization of Internet Commerce has backed down om it's threat to post 5 million AOL mail addresses on it's web site.

This is the reason I found posted on their site:
"Due to the many requests that we have received by AOL members to not post these addresses, we have made a decision to respect their wishes and as a result will not be posting the addresses on January 8th. We would like to make it clear that this was a decision that was made out of our respect for what AOL users want."

Needless to say they will continue to get 'negitive feedback' from us due to their pro-spam organization."
