Scitech software has released Display Doctor for Linux.

Truly plug & play software that will automatically detect over 250 graphics chips to make your SVGA software work properly

Full featured, universal XFree86 (Xwindow) driver

Full 2D hardware acceleration support

Support for AGP, PCI, VL-Bus and ISA graphics controllers

Allows software to run at maximum resolution and frame rate

Fixes common display problems so that applications can run without errors

Numerous display modes, from 320x240 and 512x384 (low resolution game modes) up to 2048x1536 and 2048x1152 (HDTV 16:9 aspect ratio modes)

DirectX-style hardware accelerated, full screen graphics for applications

using the free SciTech MGL or SciTech SuperVGA Kit graphics libraries

Includes support for VESA VBE/AF (Accelerator Functions) to increase the baseline performance of software applications
