New York City Ride-Hailing Upstart Juno Shuts Down

Juno, an upstart ride-hailing company in New York City, is shutting down as part of a new partnership between parent company Gett and Lyft. From a report: Gett's corporate customers will now be able to book rides via Lyft in the U.S., and some Belarus-based employees are joining Lyft, the latter tells Axios.

On Mars all transportation will be provided by Tesla robotaxis running inside of Hyperloops. The technology already exists.

In New York, all ride hailing services are required to be licensed (and their drivers need a hack license). Before Uber came along there were plenty of car services, you just needed to call them instead (or hail a driver illegally).
