Eduardo Marcel Macan wrote in to send us a story about a new technology being developed by a Nortel's venture which claims to allow 1Gb/sec rates through power lines. Update Eduardo wrote back in to apologize for a finger slip- it's 1Mb, not 1Gb. Somehow this seems a lot less interesting now.
