Build your own portable mp3 player

He's got, from what I understand, a parallel port player w/ a HD that costs less than $50 to build (the downside to this being that you have to be able to read schematics, etc). I'm sure Mr. Stockly could use some support from other people, tesing, coding, etc. I'd love to see a player that used cd-r's, and could double for a regular cd-player. "
